Our installers will lay down dust sheets and remove your current windows by cutting and unscrewing the fixings from the surrounding brickwork. The opening is then thoroughly cleaned of old sealant and debris.
We will replace your old external cill, and this is reinstalled first, before the window goes in. The new double-glazed frame is placed into the opening, sitting on the cill. Plastic packers are strategically used underneath and around the frame to ensure it is perfectly level. We then secure the frame in place with appropriate fixings to prevent distortion when the screws are tightened into place. Any gaps between the new frame and the wall opening are sealed with expanding foam or other insulating materials, adding to the thermal qualities of your new windows.
